Met my sisters new fella Sam today.
He’s a lab, and was introduced to water for the first time today. Was jumping off the side, into the pool in no time. Natural water dog this breed is.. he loved it.

My buddy, so photogenic, specially using some of the iPhones fancier settings.

And my sister enrolled her Sam in a doggie day care twice a week to socialize and get tired out.
Looks like the dogs have a great time together! That’s Sam on the left.

Money well spent, if you can’t get your dog tuckered out by yourself..

The “play hangover” is a real thing. Our guy is with us at the cottage. He’s a golden retriever and he plays all day with his same age cousin who is an American bulldog. Zoomies in and out of the water. Then they both pass out around 6:00 for the night.

Good looking guy! Doesn’t look his age!
While picking up the loot for our dog we spotted a ‘slow the hell down’ bowl for eating that supposedly makes then take longer to eat. Better for digestion etc.
Buddy was from a litter of 8 and inhales his meals.

Well it works, his time to eat has gone from 15 seconds to 5 minutes tonguing the goodies out of the crevices and curves.
Will see if that helps his digestion.
Just sharing a new gadget that works as intended.
    Cheers.

    Thanks
Will get one for the growing puppy. 5 cups of food just vanishes

Only problem is size. None on Amazon holds more than two cups.

This ones the size of a large pie plate.
If the pups on dry only, this’ll add 5 minutes and is quite entertaining to watch.
We mix raw and kibble together for ours.
