Why Thank You very much my friend. She is a rescue from the local shelter here. They referred to her as "The Iraq Dog" as her owner of three years who had adopted her at the same place had to return her as he/she was deploying to Iraq and had nobody to take care of her. Our son was in Iraq at the time and I felt a connection and we brought her home and have had her for going on 7 years now. She is almost 11 years old we estimate as nobody knows her exact age. She follows me around all the time and waits by the front door for me when I run an errand. She sleeps under the covers with me every night as well as she is spoiled rotten. She is my absolute best buddy and I can't imagine life without her.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that was like that. :-) I totally turn to mush around dogs especially. I've even caught myself calling the dog or cat by name and asking "who's their mom/dad again?" because I couldn't remember the person's name.
