I'm generally a cat person, but when I was younger I had a Cane Corso male, man he was a big dude, full of personality but don't mess with him or anyone he considered to be a member of his pack. He would patrol the house at night...I called him Sabre...I didn't realize until later that was a perfect name for him.

Oh yeah....seriously I talk to my cat just like a roommate. My boss and I keep dog biscuits in the office for when we have close encounters of the furry kind.in fact...had an elderly lady walk by work last night with her feisty little mini dobie , barkin away. I came out with a treat.broke into thirds and by the third piece he took it out of my hand with nary a peep.....she said that was not common. Behold the power of the biscuit !!!

    Default Dogs!

I love it when people have biscuits for dogs at businesses. I feel bad though when I tell them that Ike can't have one. He has serious allergies and so I dry apple, banana, and sweet potato for him, and he loves ice in the summer. He has a specific holistic food and treats that he can have too. Try finding food for dogs with no chicken, no beef, no pork, no corn, no wheat, and no soy... Oh, and he gets a fresh banana every morning!

Wow, I do feel like a dork after admitting to all of that. ;-)

Oh Yeah? Have you ever caught yourself waving at a dog walking along the road while you're driving?

Not so much that but, similarly when I pass one on the street.and make eye contact and give'em the hey dude acknowledgement look. It seems like they pick right up on it too.
