My daughter was ill and staying with me. She's better now, but her first couple days, Sasha wouldn't leave her side; she was a great nurse dog. Of course, after getting better, my daughter repaid the kindness by messing with her a bit, but Sasha loves the attention. The pictures are, Sasha being a good nurse, Cory teasing Sasha and one from a trip out in the country with Sasha watching some ducks and geese beside the road.

I used to have Malamutes, and while there are many apparent similarities, there's one absolute distinguishing trait: Mals NEVER have blue eyes...that's a Huskie trait. So if your dog has blue eyes, you now know the answer.
Both breeds are magnificent, aren't they?

Yes, Dzanda, they are magnificent breeds. My dog's eyes are brown so that's settled. Here is a pic of her and her sister.

Leatherstockings,
I fear I've confused you! What I was saying is that blue eyes are proof of a Huskie...NOT that Brown eyes are proof of a Mal. A Huskie's eyes can be blue, brown, or even one of each! But a Malamute will NEVER have blue eyes.
I don't recall you saying your dogs' ages, but unless they're very young bitches, their fine build and lighter bone is more consistent with Huskies; Mals are typically bulkier and have heavier bone even when young.
