The husky is very protective and acts as a guard dog if anyone walks across the yard or comes inside without us speaking to them. Her command to go be friendly is "go make friends." she does very well with people outside and on walks, she just doesn't want them in the yard or in the house.

I have 2 dogs, a mutt we got at the animal shelter and a Pomeranian, both pleasantly disturbed.Arise, awake, and learn by approaching the exalted ones,
for that path is sharp as a razor’s edge, impassable,
and hard to go by, say the wise. Katha Upanishad – 1.3.14

Thanked: 485I've got four at the moment; a Dalmatian, a Bichon Frisé cross Maltese, a Pomeranian cross Chihuahua and a Papillon. The Dalmation is the only one that is sane...
(no picture of Cougar the Bichon Frisé, he's tacky and I hate him...)

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Here's a short video of my wirehaired Fox Terrier, whom I sadly at to put to sleep only 6 weeks ago after 15 years of loyal service, If I'm honest I wept like a Baby and still have my moments, I will have another Dog, because I'm a dog person, but maybe in the new year.

Well!?? Post a picture of your beast!! My baby will turn two this month, it takes about a year for them to get into their full coat. Mine looks so skinny right now, the picture I posted is from when she was one year old. Great dogs, but, all dogs are pretty great. She's my baby, the only bitch I've ever gotten along with so well.
Post a picture!!!
