BTW fellas...this is a really good product for your dogs...my dogs are getting up in years and all have cataracts. Anyway...cool looking and protects REX. They're used by military, etc., and I saw them at Soul River Runs Deep Fly Shop in Portland...Vet runs it, works with inner city kids...very cool guy and a good product for the pups. If you want contact info...msg. me and I'll give it to you or google for that matter.

We had out first light snow, (Montana), and as I joined my dogs outside on the lawn this morning it occurred to me that one of the great, (though seldom appreciated), benefits of cold weather was the fact that the Lawn-Mines my dogs leave once/twice a day, for several wonderful months would now be frozen in short order making collection and disposal a snap and the occasional careless step of no consequence.

    Hahaha, good likeness
He is an unabashedly odd looking little critter. I call him a gremlin cause he too changes when he gets wet. And his coat grows out in three different directions which is fun, till it can't be brushed out, then back to the groomer.

As today is Veterans day I want to honor some dog's, many of who live or are KIA or MIA. I knew combat dogs in Vietnam along with several handlers. These dogs saved lives, many lives and have my eternal thanks and respect. Sadly, unlike WWII, Korea and today's conflicts the Vietnam combat dogs did not get to come home, they were left behind to suffer terrible fates
that can only be imagined. It seems we may have learned a lesson from that act. Today's combat dog handlers get to return home with their dogs and it is well documented that these handlers, turned civilians, deal much better with their PTSD because of their love for their dog's and the dog's love for it's master. I hope there is a special place in heaven for these brave dog's.

    Great shout Bob, thank you.

I had the pleasure of working with search dogs in Northern Ireland with the Royal Engineer Search Team.
We were searching for weapons and I.E.Ds. The first time I went out Ive never been so scared but after seeing a dog snifff out a rifle magazine in a 5 acre field in about 5 mins I wasn't worried much after! They were truly amazing at their job, and I am honoured to have spent time working with them.

God bless all vets and combat dogs.
