Tom, you cut the pushrods with bolt cutters so you eliminate the hassle of taking off the top end to get to them.
It's a little tricky but it is trick when done.
I've got a Vance and Hines Fuelpac FP3 and I'll be taking a ride today to help dial in the cam. It's close but the FP3 will get it right.
After today the weather turns to shit but I'm hoping for some decent weather but if I have to wait until Spring then so be it.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Bob Woods who markets the cam says:
Our philosophy is basically the same that we used to achieve two NHRA national records.
IT’S NOT HOW FAST YOU GO… BUT HOW QUICK YOU GET THERE!
TORQUE, TORQUE and MORE TORQUE is the ONLY way to put you there quicker and to "Smoke the Competition!"Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Yep said it before and I’ll say it again, they all come to me wanting Horse Power,, but here’s the thing
“TORQUE GETS YOU UP THERE, ;HORSEPOWER JUST KEEPS IT THERE”. All the horses need the torque to get off the line and climb up the Rpm,s, then HP takes over. Got plenty of jap bikes with lots of HP, but not much Torgue, me an my old ass on a Harley smoke em from stop light to stop light“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

I ain't been on a bike in decades but... Reminds me of a club day at Oran park in the 70's.
It was an open class & I was flag marshal on the corner before the big straight. The yamaha 350 was all the rage at the time & pack of these things came into the corner dropping from 6th to 3rd gear. You can imagine the sound effect All of a sudden there was a big clunk as a Vincent Black Shadow dropped down a gear & tore through then all like they were standing still. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Tom the only thing that I've done to a Harley was putting rocker cover gaskets on my '97. I thought that was stressful.
Here's the video that I watched and watch and watched some more to make sure I got it right.
BUT I was changing out the cam plate and the oil pump and he wasn't so I watched this one.
Tc was there with all of the support and helpful advice a man could ask for.
I also had to buy a 'tuner' to use once I got it all back together. It was expensive but it's was really worth the money.
This thing really pulls. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Oz those were great days to see Vincent's on the course still they are one of the most expensive engines to get ahold of. Was not my kind of racing but I truly love a work of mechanical art. Thanks for reminding me, I want one

Awesome machines. Even standing still.
For racing, I expect the Blue Bike would be the shizzle!

My favorite rendition of the Vincent song...Crank it!
