.44 Magnums are a lot of fun to shoot, but since they literally EAT money, ya' gotta reload, if you shoot 'em very much. But NOT very practical for carry.
My 'Carry' gun is a full size Colt 1991A1 that was completely worked over at Novak's .45 Shop. I am a six footer who weighs a little over 250, so I can carry it concealed, without many problems. It has saved my bacon once. So it was worth every dime I paid!

I carry a full size SW1911 in .45acp. as i've learned about gunsmithing over the years, i've replaced much of it and customized nearly all of it.
for 3 gun I use my carry gun plus a RRA A4 and a Benelli 12 ga. tons of fun.

Thanked: 0Oh, I also like to shoot Sporting Clays, so I have a Beretta over/under. Beretta is where I first learned the word "Inox," which brings it back to the forum for relevency.
