He thinks he's the biggest fish in the pond. Wrong. Fidget is the quiet alpha. Mac tries to jump him or challenge him on the window sill.

Its on then. Fidget, pound for pound, hits harder than any cat I have ever see. You can hear the thwap as his paw smacks Mac's head. Mac at one time had to shake those off. The window sill. Lets just say that Fidget has a black belt in Judo and flips Mac off the sill if he is challenged.

Here's Martha (named after Paul Macartney's dog ). I had her 14 years. She was always one of those very skittish cats and would run a mile from anyone, but she never ran from me. We had to put her down 2 weeks ago because a tumour was eating her up and she was barely conscious at the end. As soon as I left the vet's, I sat in my car and blubbed like a babe. We have had her cremated and will be buying a perennial which will flower orange -- the ashes will be scattered in the hole we dig for the plant. Every year the orange flowers will remind us of Martha.

The second photo is Phaedrus. He's 16 and tough as nails. He's wandering around missing Martha though.

Here's my little Ayla, a black cat is a nightmare to photograph but these didn't came out too bad. She's 4 years old, and she's probably the most affectionate cat in the universe, which is not that good when she comes to bed in the middle of the night and starts rubbing her head on my face and giving little bites on my nose to say she loves me.

And this is the crazy crazy Loki, a complete gentleman... it's a pity all his elegance goes to hell as soon as he gets slept

Ayla is Loki's hero, and she loves him too, so they usual state is something like this

Georgia, ferral rescue from just outside Ancorage AK, So F'd up in the head that she only likes me (I don't like cats) and I arranged a trade with a local lady that did alot of animal rescues in the area. She was into reptiles and really wanted one from a litter one of my snakes had. So I traded a snake for a pet cat for my wife and kid. They have been wanting one for ever and I was sick of hearing about it. So I get this thing... She hates my wife and daughter, will not lighten up, and shreds anyone silly enough to try touching her... except me... ugh...

Later we figured she just needed another cat to devert her attentions.. So we got the white one "Alaska" I didn't name it...

Now Alaska is an exact mirror image of Georgia, He's a frigging dog in cat fur. I've seen him chase his tail and do all kinds of dog stuff, weirdo...

Now these two didn't get along AT ALL for the first year we had them. Alaska couln't care less about Georgia, unless he was in chase mode. And Georgia was dead set on getting rid of the new intruder. All hell breaks out for about a year till they can at least be in the same room. Now several years have passed and Georgia almost tolerates Alaska's pressence in the Apt. but not entirely. Alaska still could care less

A very handsome fellow. Our canine friends deserve a thread of their own though. Why not start one Ogie ? I'm sure there are many out there who would love to show off their dogs.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Here's my Bombay, Scarlett (as in O'Hara...the ex named her, but it fits)...also known as Bitch-kitty, Ho-ella, Puss-Puss. Jet black, no other color, gold-green eyes. Loves laps. Neutered, but still armed (much to the dog's displeasure)
