Count me in too. Although in summner I am more a cigar smoker, I have my pipes and box of tobaccos ready for winter. Oh the pleasures of Penzance, 965, or St Bruno flake...!

Thanks! And happy aromatization of the world around you.

I haven't smoked mine in a long time, but they're there just waiting for good weather and a bit of impetus. there is alt.smokers.pipes but I don't know if they ever moved from newsgroups to bulletin board. I used to spend lots of time there.

As an addendum to my above. if we start our own group of guys that use straights as well as smoke pipes, I think we should work on getting pipes, maybe around Christmas time. Tinsky does them for ASP, and I have had a couple of his pipes, great craftsmanship.

I used to frequent ASP years ago. I was also a card carrying member of the late Tom Dunn's Coterie of Pipe Smokers. Matter of fact Tom put a little piece I wrote in the very last issue of The Pipe Smoker's Ephemeris. Probably the greatest periodical ever published devoted to the briar brotherhood.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
