Thanked: 10Bourbon!
Everyone seems to have posts for their beverage of choice and bourbon is mine. Which bourbon is your favorite?
I've got two that are in my top spot. Basil Hayden's and Blanton's Single Barrel. Both are so delicious and smooth.

I lean toward Knob Creek these days a little more than Maker's Mark.

Thanked: 1262I got to try some Basil Hayden when i had some long lost relatives from down south visit. Very good stuff.
Lately I have been drinking bulleit bourbon, but makers and diet is always my go to drink at a bar.
Or a manhattan if I think the bartender will get it right.....
/had a bartender ask me how to make it once.
//At nice Mariott in orlando....
///He failed at the simple instructions....

Old Ezra is a favorite, but I have to take it easy...100 proof hits me harder these days than it used to. I also enjoy the occasional Early Times. Apparently, in the US it's not actually REAL bourbon, but the export is. Weird, huh?
But my bourbon of daily choice is Wild Turkey. Gobble Gobble!

Wild Turkey....OH. the last time I heard the gobble gobble I was young. After drinking all I remember is one of my friends saying is "the ambulance is on the way" no more turkey for me.

Thanked: 6$35 is about all I can justify on a bottle. That said, here's my picks:
1. Van Winkles "Lot B"
2. Evan Williams Single Barrel
3. Wild Turkey Rare Breed (careful of the proof on this one)
4. Woodford
5. Knob Creek
If you ever see a bottle of LotB, get it.

Woodford, Makers Mark, or Bookers. My favorite is always changing depending which one I last shared a glass of ice with.

heh heh.
yeah favorites come and go.
The Van Winkle though. I did splurge on a bottle of Old Pappy. I'd have to have it side by side with the lot b. I've had both. Both excellent.
