Yes Sir, GM and Texas goes together just like Stink on S#!t does ! East Texas is full of Big SUV's and Big Trucks !

Being a Swiss person, living in a Swiss city, I don't even have a driving license.

Driving a car is extremely expensive in Switzerland. A driving license alone will cost you around 2500 dollars/franks here. Expect to pay 300 bucks monthly for a garage or 150 bucks for a parking spot near your house, 100-200 monthly for a parking spot at your workplace, 200 bucks monthly for car insurance and about 6 bucks per gallon of Gas.. But hey, you didn't even buy a car yet after that. According to some article I just googled, the average cost of car ownership is 900 swiss franks / 900 us dollars. That article is about 6 years old though, so i can safely assume that's it about 1100 bucks monthly now.

TL;DR Imma just be riding my bike and the bus ;-)

    Cool Drive? How 'bout ride?

An older pic of my 2004 VW GTI VR6, from late 2003, and a more recent pic of my 2005 BMW K1200s. With gas once again reaching 3.50+ USD a gallon the motorcycle has once more become my primary means of transport. Being a Floridian, however, that hasn't proven to be such a bad thing.

I'm a bit of a Saab guy. Most people never understand, especially since there is basically a car that can beat it in some form of comparison out there. They just have something about that that I haven't found in other cars. But my daily driver is a 1996 Saab 900SE. It's been a great car, but it's starting to get old and rust has really set in after 15 of New York's salty winters.

And that leads us to my project car. It's a 1973 Saab 96. It needs quite a bit of work, but it's fun to tote around town until I make the new floor pans to weld in.

It currently looks more like this (quick photoshop... camera currently broken).

And I'm not sure if I want to head in one of these directions, or just keep on keeping it close to stock with my personal taste choices.

    or this direction...

I'll play... she's currently down for the count while I get enough money to fix it (stupid thing's ABS didn't cycle when I needed it the most = flat skid under a Civic).

    1996 Firebird, 3.8L V6. I bought it as a 4speed automatic, it is now a 5speed manual:

aaaand this is what happens when 30 degrees + wet road + locked wheels at 20mph meets a Honda Civic and noses under. The scrape in front of the DS headlight is where her licence plate went up over the top of the bumper.

her car = ~$1000 in damage.
Mine = ~4000 in damage. fml.
