I'll PM you the complete list and price (if you'd like). Long story short I went with AMD CPU and GPU. I don't have much against Intel but the price/performance of the i7 for the applications I use it for I couldn't justify. As far as Nvidia....this article kind of sums up my feelings.

In the PC realm I'm for Windows 7. I'm a software engineer so I've been exposed to it for around 10+ months now and it's much better than Vista.

I'm going with a solid state drive for my OS drive. I'll be installing Win 7 and probably a flavor of Linux on the SSD. I can't personally vouch for the SCSI drives but a friend of mine who splurged on one said he can't see a speed difference.

It seems that I am quite odd here then. I mostly play Entropia Universe that just changed name to Planet Calypso. Anyone of you ever tried that? Other than that its RPG games all the way Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 are my favourites

Man I was addicted pretty bad to Diable 2, I finally just got bored. I play consoles and PC alike. Shooters for the PC as ventrilo and the mouse is better, and consoles in the theater. Games in the theater are just much more fun than the PC. Currently Uncharted 1&2, GTA IV, and finally getting around to finishing FF XII. Then God of War 2 in prep for God of War 3 this spring.

I pretty much strickly play consoles. Working on my second run through Dragon Age Origins on PS3. Looking forward to FFXIII this spring.

Man, I used to play PC FPS like they were crack: TFC Counter Strike mainly, then on to shitloads ofTF2 then COD4. Then I got with my girlfriend and she ended all that. She hated it when my PC'd turn me into a zombie. So i started playing consoles (ugh) with her, Halo 3 mainly(boo, her choice) but orange box a lil bit. All the new mario& nintendo games are awesome. I just beat MGS4 for PS3...best game ever. But lately all I've been playin is MW2 all day every day, real addicted. Lame its for xbox and not pc.

i mostly play PC games right now it is L4D2 and TF2 but all of my games are on steam.

I can understand that. Quakewars takes some getting into. It takes at least a couple of rank upgrades before you've sufficiently gotten the hang of it. I haven't played in a while but I was working on the second set of medals last time I played.

UT3 is cool as well. Found out that my computer could run it a lot better than I thought.

Mostly I've been network gaming UT2004 with some friends and my wife inour living room when they're over.

It's a shame about the console stuff indeed as 3dshooters really are built to be played on PC and not on consoles.

But hey, gotta go where the money is I guess.

God damn it where do you guys find these women? Do I have to move to Europe now?

+1, I need to get me one of those girls I just don't know where you find a girl like that. All I seem to ever find are the insane girls (and usually the ones with daddy issues or something similar).

Don't get too excited though they also want the men that is US to help out with everything as well. Think clothes shopping, IKEA trips, doing the dishes and being the designated driver
