Funny, I hate Microsoft because they bought Bungie just to make Halo an Xbox exclusive instead of releasing it on PC as it should have been.
I have a PS3 mostly for the Blu-Ray and storage. I play shooters and have never been able to switch from kb/m to a controller.
I'd say that the majority of people I know with 360s have gotten the RROD and that's a shame.

Thanked: 2Basis for this statement? The grammar is a bit off but i think you are saying PS3 graphics are far superior to the 360, right? What are you basing this off of? I find them to be about par and if i had to i might give a SLIGHT edge to the 360. The only place where i see the PS3 really out shine a 360 is blue-ray, but that doesn't make up the price difference and lack of good games, IMHO.

Yay!! The good old Microsoft vs Sony debate.
Let's not do this...... why try to rip into the fun that someone else is having by trying to tell them that the gaming system they have is worthless?
In the end they bought it because they liked it an no amount of spec comparing is going to change that.

Thanked: 0I used to be a huge PC gamer until I was just sick of upgrading every year to keep
up with the latest games. As a result, my PC is stuck with an A64 3800+, 2GB DDR400,
ATi 9800XT 256MB and an old Audigy 2 card. The last game I bought for it was The orange box and FEAR. I still play HL2 whenever I get the chance because it's my alltime favourite. For the last 2 years I have been a die hard PS3 fan. Been playing lots of MW2 and Bioshock lately.
As for the XBox, we won't go there. I am very anti Microsoft. I am forced to use it's products. I still cant understand how anyone could love Halo so much. I think it's rubbish.

Yes, I started this so that maybe a few gamers could add some new SRP friends on their buddy lists, not to debate PC and consoles. Platforms all have their pros and cons and we all made our purchases accordingly.

PC gamer here. Have been ever since 2000 when I built my first PC. Unreal Tournament 99 got me HOOKED. Still play it occasionally. I mostly play Battlefield 2 now. I'm thinking of picking up MW2 today along with Kaspersky Antivirus. A buddy of mine in school gave me Windows 7, so I might install them all today and give it a whirl. Don't quote me on that, I'm LAZY!
I have the Orange Box. Haven't touched it in at least a year. I think my Steam ID is JBreakstuff. Don't quote me on that.
I bought my wife a Wii last Christmas because she wanted the Fit. I can tell when she used it because it felt like an earthquake around here.
I still like the old games. Civ 2, Sim City 2000, Mech Warrior, Quake series, and I still have a COH account.......but I don't play that much anymore, not worth the $15/month. I have GTAIV, might start that up when I roll to Windows 7.

I play WoW sporadically (buy a 30-day membership every couple of months); otherwise it's my Atari 2600 hooked up to an old 20" Sony TV (I'm serious!)
