Thread: Video games

Finally rejoined the ranks of the console gamers with a PS3 on black friday. I have a Wii that I got when they first released, but I view that as more of a party tool than a gaming system. Great for the purpose, but never got into anything other than NLH2K9 as a single player.

I have been a pure PC gamer since the PS2 came out and I decided to sell my pre-ordered one on ebay. Prior to that all the growing up systems touched my hands of course.

Played Dungeon and Dragons Online for a good while and never could go to a different MMO after I got burned out on that. The playstyle of WoW and all the others out there are too rudimentary after DDO, which despite other issues has one of the best quest systems out there. Never hunting rats. Not once. It also benefits from a much more active gaming aspect. more God of War style play than click and wait with the added benefit of extremely versatile character generation....dang it I always do this about that game. Loved it, but in-game politics and slow content releases got the better of me.

Now I am playing through some of the stuff I have missed over the years away from consoles. Loved GoW1 and about to start 2 soon. inFamous was a blast and I am actually looking forward to a number of upcoming releases as well.

Never got into PC myself always a consule. i love physicaly moding a system with fans and lights and heat sinks. Just picked up halo 3 so hit me up if anyone wants to play. UtahRootBeer make sure to put SRP in the notes.
