It's very easy to make, basically melt and pour. The recipe I went with was to use 4 parts beeswax(by volume), 3 parts petroleum jelly and 1/2 part lanolin. Let it set up and test it out. If you want more hold, remelt it and add more beeswax. If you want more workability, add more petroleum jelly. Also make sure you use a double boiler.

Has anyone ever tried TOBS's mustache waxes? They seem to have two kinds, one with a lighter hold and one a bit heavier? How do they compare to something like Firehouse, Oregon Wild Hair, or Lucky Tiger?

Thanked: 1185Having completed my 3 months out of a decade of being moustacheless, I've begun to grow the moustache back. Most of the pepper seems to have disappeared from my salt and pepper moustache. I'm a shade over 2 weeks in and have a long time before wax becomes an issue. I figure by about Christmas time the stash should be back in all it's former glory
Once it comes back like this I'll not trim it until I have to move it out of the way to take a leak, I promise.
