Half. I have used a variant of the Pratt a few times, but just gravitate to the Half.

I used to use a four in hand knot in highschool. When I started wearing a suit for work I used a half windsor. Now that I am a cool classy looking teacher I use a full windsor. Come to think of it, as my tie knot has gotten wider, so have I.

I use the prat and full windsor depending on the tie and the collar. Its funny, but I never actually knew the name of the Pratt knot. Neat thread!

I have no idea... My dad showed me how to tie a tie when i was 16 and i have tied it that way ever since.

Googling... i think it is the " 4 in hand" knot.

Full-Windsor. That's how my Dad taught me, and so that's how I do it. Plus, I think it looks better.

Windsor, half or full, depending of the collar and the tie.

I had to make a knot in a hurry, and my father wasn't around, so I asked Google to teach me.

My mother taught me a four-in-hand. Always looked lopsided. My father saw me tying it one day and said, "What the hell kind of a knot is that?" He tied me a Windsor but never taught me how to tie it myself. I learned as an adult. I remember a short period in the 70's, when some men were wearing a tie with no knot. It was kind of a four-in-hand but just laid over, not pulled through the final lop.
