brylcream? I still remember my dad used to put that on my hair 10 years ago, and I think we still sell that in my family grocery store, not much demand as Gatsby Mandom is now taking over the market in basically Indonesia, but yeah it still sells.

I use Pinaud Clubman gel myself love the smell and it does go well with Pinaud aftershave lotion

Brylcreem worked good the few times I tried it. I am now a huge fan of Layrite pomade and that is all I use. Holds my pomp up great and washes right out. Love the stuff. Oh and it smells great.

Probably known in US as Tancho or simply Mandom. Mandom is a quite a huge japanese company which produce man's grooming product (Haircream, aftershave, deodorant, etc.), woman cosmetics(cologne, body lotion, hair coloring, etc.). I used to use my dad's aftershave, which actually has been almost 11 years old hahaha, but so far I had no skin issue upon using it.

Gatsby is one of their flagship, as far as I know its a malaysian company, most of the product is a Hair Cream or Hair Gel and wax, Shaving gel (I like this one, cheap and works, however a bit dry in some stage), etc., and it's still widely sells, at least in Indonesia.

i can't find this mandom anywhere.. i'm real interested to try it though.

I have to say, this has been a real eye opener. I didn't think anyone used hair tonic any more.

i do love the brylcreem.. would love it more with a bay rum scent!
