Smoked a Christmas gift from a good friend. This was my first Behike and it was a well balanced and constructed cigar.
I am not really a fan of Cohiba but I enjoyed this one for about an hour and a half. Thanks Tommy!

We'll let me tell you, it's not disappointing! Not sure what it is - it's not the most complex, and it's not a Maduro - two things I like in a stick.
Heck, I tell you what, It does have this lovely grassy taste though... And it leaves this film on your lips that just has me licking the old chops as though I just ate a big old ribeye!
Lovely lol.

I tell you what kids - it's hot in Americas heartland. Hot and windy. Car is blowing all over the road.
Had a tasty House of Hovarth Robusto tonight compliments of Mike at the GTG a few weeks back.

Was a nice nice smoke, not to spicy and very well rolled. Ash didn't decide to fall off till near the end of the smoke. Survived a 30 minute soak in the hot tub without falling off.
Washed it down with a Guinness and it was just about a perfect end to a wonderful night.
Cheers gents.
And thanks for the gars Mike!!
My pleasure
I hope you enjoy them :)
Cheers buddy :tu

I believe it was one of Manah's posts that brought me on this this particular one.
Yet another La Reloba for the commute yesterday...
Attachment 177691
...I don't believe it's possible I'll ever get sick of this stick.
For this morning, a Camacho Blackout.
Attachment 177692Attachment 177693
The Blackout is an excellent stick, however I DO prefer their Triple Maduro over it.
Had a very nice Oliva series V Maduro after work yesterday.
Gone fishin and to keep the mosquitoes off i light up a Montecristo Open Eagle

Look at how green that course looks!! And you're smoking a Magna too boot!!
Man... looks like good times - great times even :).
Yea, the course is in fantastic shape :)
too bad my game isn't
I couldn't hit a straight drive to save my arse yesterday
Shot 94 :(
I typically shoot mid 80's on that course. Only once broke 80, shot 76 but the stars must have been aligned that day.
I generally play the blue tees.
It plays 6622 yds from the blue tees and 6203 yds from the whites.
I never play the tips at 7067 yds.
The fescue is BRUTAL :)
I got an idea brother!!
Who doesn't love golf :) ??

Arturo Fuente Don Carlos No. 4, 5 1/8 x 43.
Wonderful cigars!

Interesting, I have found Arturos to be hit and miss
I have though preferred their lager ring Gran Reserva's and really enjoyed the Hemingway.
Opus X is still on my list but honestly, I'll probably avoid their lower priced selections in the future.
Of course, YMMV :)
Mike
Found a couple Padilla Miami Edicion Limitada 2009 maduro's deep in my humi. Forgot all about them so I put the flame to one tonight. Not bad
I am with you on that - but you really need to give the Opus a smoke.
Story time - I have this lawyer friend who begrudgingly went with me to the cigar bar one day. He picked up the Opus because it was one of the more expensive cigars there - I followed suit as to not look as poor as I am. It was a lancero special edition Opus. My gosh was it good. I mean crazy good.
As a sign of indifference to my absolute gushing over the cigar, he let his burn out after the first quarter (at least that was my bitter take lol). I went on to smoke mine - it was awesome. So awesome in fact, I did something I never do, I took a mans discards and went to town. Yup, I re-lit his and enjoyed it in his back yard as we did BBQ lol. No shame :).
Just writing this makes me wonder if it was the day or what? Whatever it was, I really enjoyed that stick... or stick and 3/4s lol. The vendor never had them again :(. Maybe it really was a special edition lol.
Is it just me or is every cigar with the name Miami included in it just awesome... ? And expensive lol?
I have (and hopefully never will) encounter an AF that wasn't thoroughly enjoyable!
I have read that the 'curlyheads' aren't all that great, but I believe they are machine made...?
Earcutter is bang on with the Opus X. Not exactly cheap, but it's one of those situations where you get what you paid for really; give one a go.
Yesterday was a Nick's Stick (of the Perdomo fame), a 'Little Havana'. Great price point and a great stick...I let it age in my humi for a while.

This morning was a CAO 'Sol'.
Haven't had one of this in quite the while, just as good as I remember!
Attachment 178199
While I am the furthest thing away from being a 'Brand Whore'...I couldn't pass this up!
Attachment 178210
Yeah, I love these sticks THAT much.
Brand whore!!! :).
