Congrats you all Gents for making this thread so great!
It is the pipe that matters!

    Friday evening pipe:
    Peterson/SG Bracken Flake/Saku Rock

Now happy new year to all fine Gents here.

If you happen to travel somewhere near Northern Europe at 2011, take a change to make a visit into my home town Turku which is also European Capital of Cultures 2011. (In fact i have no any idea what such title means, but the beer and pipe tobacco is on me )

Forgive the poor photo, I don't know whether to blame the first generation Sony Mavica floppy disc camera or the photographer.

Ser Jacapo 'Della Gemma' Emeraldo in a somewhat unusual shape. One of my babies.

    Nice pipe, Jimmy

I've always wanted to get one of Ser Jacopo pipes. Well maybe not Insanata but something little more traditionally shaped. Yours look nice. I've heard that they are great smokers.

Indeed they are. The guy is as much an artist as a pipe maker. I ordinarily prefer traditional shapes but there was something about that one that called out to me.

Jimmy that is a very nice shape. Those Picta pipes are very cool!!! I had a Ser Jacapo in a Calabash with a solid silver bowl rim on it. It was like this one but had the silver cap

    Wow look at this beauty!
