The Herring wouldn't make sense, it's already been smoked. Marmalade? Heck, why not!? I read of dudes using honey to break in pipes. But, Marmite, that's a no go! That would be like putting Limburger cheese in the heater vents of someone's car!! (I do not approve of Limburger in heater vents, just a dab under the car's door handle is hilarious though)

Every time I fired up a pipe to watch the San Francisco Giants play last season's playoffs and then the World Series, they won. I hope the mojo is still with the power of the pipe for today's Super Bowl! The Omar King poker with some Frog Morton On the Bayou will be the San Francisco Forty Niners victory pipe!!

Thanked: 101Afternoon pipe while grilling steaks was the basket briar stuffed full of Celtic Vanilla. It is a nice blend. I have found my favorites are 1Q, Celtic Vanilla, and Amaretto. I have found the Danish Cherry blend to be bitey. This was confirmed by the shopkeeper at the smoke shop. Expresso blend is hot as well with bite. I have found the mini bent free hand is a bit of a hot smoker, which is kind of a no brainer due to length of the stem. It will be henceforth relegated to my milder blends. I enjoy a bowl after work while unwinding and sitting on the porch. I don't really like yacking while I smoke. Just me and my thoughts and swirling smoke.

Thanked: 983Ah yes, I can just picture you now...Sitting at your mahogany desk with the coffee rings on the left, desk lamp over to the right, casting its fluorescent glow over the stationary and the books in their cases, against the wall of your study. Your glasses perched on the end of your nose, as you thoughtfully continue writing your notes with the fountain pen poised in your right hand. Pipe and tobacco beside the humidor, kept just above centre, and directly in front of you...
