As a heads up, Pipes and Cigars has all C&D blends for 20% off this month. I know they're one of my favorite blenders so I thought I'd share

some JKP in a Roma with some black coffee.

I have a small tin of Five o'clock Shadow that I picked up a while back. I told myself I would not open any more tins until I get through some of the tins I have opened, but your post persuaded me to pop it open and give it a try. It's 4:23 p.m. in Cali and I'm still working, so it will be after dinner.

Here we go, Friday night pipe and beer. I picked up this beer because the label was so unique. Turns out it's a tasty imperial stout. The Five O'Clock Shadow is good tobacco, smoking it from a Vauen that has not seen any action lately.

Good choice on the 5 O'Clock. Just finished a bowl, it gives a nice spicy smoke. And I couldn't finish the beer, it was a little too stouty. I'll stick with IPA's and dark Mexican beers.
