As far as the rifle... M44 Mosin...

I've been wanting a Scout Rifle for some time, so I did this poor abused Mosin a favor and classed it up some...

Two years in the making, and she shoot sweet... Nothing like I expected... I'm waiting for the new scope to show up so then I will really know how she does.
I love my M44. I've only done some work on the action and replaced the stock. I prefer the iron sights to a scope. Have you fitted a new barrel?

Last night I had a couple bowls of Old Joe Krantz as I worked with the action on a friends hi-power

Nope, the first few inches were not the best, so I cut it down to 18" and re crowned it... I thought that it was going to kick like a mule, but it has less push than my 12 ga.

I'm about 8 miles from anywhere... It can be nice, but at the same time, it can be a B*TCH in the winter...

Some days we won't see a snow plow till 7:00 at night... All we can do is hunker down and hope the heater keeps heating

12,7 mm gun mount. Works as well as a pipe rack.
