Still working on the tin of '09 Escudo I opened on Thanksgiving. Enjoying a bowl now with a glass of rye while I watch the girls decorate the fir tree I brought home today. Bing's singing makes the perfect background for the evening.

Thanked: 45Christmas is early this year!!!!
Because Santa delivered this lovely pipe today! I've been away since last wed, and had just arrived home this afternoon, when the doorbell rang. It was the postman with a box for me! I scratched my head, not remembering ordering anything. Then I saw the return address, and said Hmmmm?
Inside was this lovely pipe, my first cob!
Currently enjoying Her with 5'Oclock Shadow.
Thank you, Phil. That was very kind, completely unexpected, and an awesome surprise. You made my week. Thanks again!

A good cob is awesome. I love some of the Missouri Meerschaum offerings. They won't last as long as briar, but the break in time is short and they smoke great. Nice score.

Bullseye Flake in my favorite flake pipe, the 'ol Peterson tankard.
I also put up 4 ounces of Pirate Kake, and 6 of Bullseye. Now for the waiting..."The ability to reason the un-reason which has afflicted my reason saps my ability to reason, so that I complain with good reason..."
