Very durable and reasonably priced pipe that made me buy 4 more of this maker. Some of the best smokers I have. Aint saying much but that's how I see it.

I smoke about four tobaccos that I always have in stock. Haunted Bookshop and Old Joe Krantz are two of them. Very good tobaccos and I must say I'm very tolerant of Vit N, but once in a while the Old Joe will catch me.

As I'm on my first bowl of the day, it is Bayou Morning in a little Black Sea Rock with coffee.

Perhaps my post above was not totally truthful. Just lit a bowl of Old Joe Krantz in a black Sea Rock 23. Might need to steady myself when I stand up to go shave.

Certain blends hit me hard. Cool and clammy, watery mouth and tremors. The nic hits like a truck. I know it is all in my cadence of smoking. Funny that it still gets me sometimes.

Reminds me of a cigar I smoked, once.

I used to smoke La Gloria Cubana Serie R No. 7's. A whole stick caused no issues, and was delicious. Decided one day to try a CAO brazilia, also a full strength, delicious, cigar. But oh boy... after smoking that bad boy to the nub, felt fine while I was sitting, but then stood up and, well, I was horizontal for about 2 hours. I guess you never know until you try.

I seem to find laying down helps. A LOT!

No picture today. But smoked some frog Morton in a Erick king on the way to work.
I have not smoked this blend for 3 years. Don't know why I stayed away so long.
