Ok Jimmy and APipeguy need to talk to my lawyer and write your Will to include leaving all smoking apparatus to me, heheh. Smoking on this night is Bayou Morning in my pedestrian, Rattray's Old Gowrie series #6 Bulldog.
    Yummy.

    Don't drink and shave!

How about a couple of Castello lovats. Both sandblasts, 'Old Antiquari'. The one with the briar going around the stem came to me used off of the bay, and was a great smoker from jump street. Not long after the other one popped up on the bay, also used, and looked like the same shape and I went for it. Hardly used but it didn't smoke well at all. Took years of smoking to get it to where it is now a good smoker. Funny how briar is like people, all the same, but different.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Worked on razor restorations all day. Did manage some Rattray's Red Rapparee in my Ries Blackruf. First time I have tried this tobacco and I enjoyed it and it allowed much more concentration on the razors I was working on.

Closed out the day a few minutes ago with some OJK in my Lorenzo Gran Canadian estate. Bill was on my mind all afternoon and had me reflecting on just how precarious our life on mother earth can be.

Picked up two refurbished estate pipes today, both under $15. In front is a Wm. Penn system pipe. Rear is a Litewate 86a. Got an oz of my local shops 'Butterscotch' blend. Haven't had time to sit and enjoy a smoke in a few days. Ill be smoking the new blend in the Litewate this evening.
