Bayou Morning is a fantastic tobacco but very mild tasting to me, Exclusive is supposed to be 50% Perique. Now that's a spicy tobacco and another of my favorites. Will always have both in my cabinet.

You obviously like that recipe. I have 50 with 4.5 gr bullseye that are waiting to be tried out before making more.

I've got to get off my hind end and cast some Keith type 44s. Got Lyman 429421, and an RCBS mold, can't recall the #, but it is also Keith type.

Got these two beauties in the mail today. Both Castello 75s, a Sea Rock, and a Castello-Castello. Both GG size. I owned them both about 8-10 years ago and bought them back. Note the piece of plateau on the face of the smooth piece. Very unusual I think.

As for the tobacco recently gotten ...... The star of the show is the bulk Bayou Morning, followed closely by the Pegasus. Both of those are permanently in my rotation.

The Engine 99 is in third place. I like it, and it may become a staple tobacco too. Still too early to tell. The Old Joe Kranz, which I read in Tobacco Reviews dot com, is very like Haunted Bookshop on steroids. More nicotine. I think I like it, but not as much as the regular bookshop.

In last place is the Billy Budd. Reading the tobacco reviews it seems people either love it or hate it. I gravitated to it because of the cigar leaf, but it is not at all clean tasting and subtle, like my staple tobacco, GL Pease Robusto. I find that smoking it in smaller bowls is my best bet. All of these are C&D in the bulk blend format.

Just got my new Grant Batson pipe. Smokes like a dream! Off to the West Coast Pipe Show in Vegas next month to meet him in person. Can't wait to see what he has available in his booth.
