An Ashton ELX poker circa 2005, and a Dunhill bamboo poker circa 2006. Dunhill Early Morning Pipe in the Ashton, and C&D Bayou Morning in the Dunhill.

It is a combination of Red Odessa and the unpressed components of Pirate Kake but I have no idea of the amounts of each or if "the components" of Pirate Kake are in the same proportions as Pirate Kake. Whatever it is, it's good.

Once i used to addore ,the 8 ounce boxes of pirate cake and Sextant . Ive smoked Abingdon also and few more .The Most flavourfull is meridian and Sextant .Pirate cake, was so smooth and deep The litle baskelets in the 8 ounce box tells you where you are in the box . Ive even buy , a pure latakia for mixixing . I was puting it into old Frog Mrton box and i forgot . After a while ive smoke it and i was thinking - wow this frog morton is better , than the rest of them ha ha ha a.
I aways buy some granulated perique and add soe to mu Vapers . I love perique .
Well what a punishment is for a pipe smoker , to try once the G.LPeace tobaccos , to get used to them , and now cannot buy them anymore . Total disastre Everything is bald and flat , compared to Gregory masterpiecess .
CD tobaccos are the best manifacturer of pipe tobacco in the world Well Esoterica and Comptons of gashiel sre also very good .
Ha hah ah Now i dont even look into CD and G.L P tobaccos as only get mad

Dont remind me , the regulations in EU and in my country especialy are grousome , for importing tobacco , especialy from Usa
They will cost me abbout 600 % More expensive and 2 days of paper work in the customa Now they even forbid the internes sale of tobacco in EU and we cannot buy it from anywhere Total nightmare They import few Sam gawith and Peterson blends that are near 20 $ for a 50 grams Total nightmare . Normally I won't post in this thread without a photo, but I didn't plan well, and I'd rather not pull something out of the archive. So you guys are a bad influence ......... or maybe a good one ?

Today I received my order from Smoking Pipes dot com and the order was placed because of reading what y'all smoke. I had a tried a 2oz tin of Bayou Morning and it made the cut, so I ordered a pound. Then tried a 1oz bag of Pegasus, and it too made the cut. Another pound.

Ordered 4ozs of Engine 99, Billy Budd, and Old Joe Krantz. The jury is out on those, smoked one bowl of each. As I type this I'm enjoying a bowl of the Bayou Morning bulk. I like it better than the contents of the 2oz tin !

So these are added to the Haunted Bookshop which Bob kindly sent to me. I had bought an 8oz tin shortly thereafter because, at the time, Smoking Pipes was out of bulk. So anyway ........ I can't seem to get G&H Rum Flake bulk anymore ....... first time in 15 years or so.

I'm still puffing away on my GLP Robusto, and Dunhill Early Morning Pipe. All these blends leave me wondering which to enjoy next !

So thanks to you gentlemen for broadening this old man's horizons. Variety if the spice of life ..........
