i hate you old gi, lol, yes i remember my days here to, when the snow was blowing so bad that you couldnt see your hand infront of your face, and where i was at, if it got to 60 degrees and above, heck that was our heat wave, if the sun cam out for more than a few hours during a week day, heck it was sunshine liberty time.

Well after finishing a bit of work on the old farm and driving back out to the new place, I came across this view and ended up in the middle of it. Strong winds, blinding rain, and to top it all off, struck by lightning...Not me personally of course...I wouldn't be typing this right now if that were the case, I'd be acting like a light bulb in an ICU somewhere. No, what I meant was the vehicle I was driving got hit. All the hairs on my arms, neck and the crewcut head all started standing on end and then a flash and BOOM...I was going nuts, the poor dog in the back was going ballistic and both of us wanted to be somewhere else.

I was quite happy to get back to the farmhouse and hour later and just kick back on the veranda with a pipe that night, and a good book. Kicking back shirtless on a sultry, stormy night in relative safety and definate comfort. The dog never left my side that night...Too scared.

The next day about lunch time I was just down the road from home, relaxing after a three hour ride from the farm, and just enjoying this view with my Peterson system and a bowl of Borkum Riff Cherry Cavandish before riding the last few kilometres to be back with my girls.

Wild rabbit is darker meat but not bad if you know how to cook it.I use to buy domestic rabbits. They are great.

yes, it is very good, i have a local meat shop down here that sells rabbit meat, i have been tempted to buy some one day and have it fixed and then have the rest of the family try it before i tell them what it is, i would probably get stoned to death. we have a pet rabbit in the house and they others would be upset with me.
