I'm personally an english smoker. There is some difference to some degree but for the most part it's pretty close. A nice twist that is my personal favorite at the moment is Pembroke. Its a medium english with a Cognac casing. It adds a hint of sweetness to the darker smokier notes of the English. Thanks for the tip about the jars, I'll have to check there.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Thanked: 1185I was on that plan just last weekend. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as well as I would have expected. So apparently yesterday, I beat back the ebola virus sufficeintly to do some smoking today. I'm far from 100% and still pretty clogged but the smoke wasn't that bad, Granger in a Whitehall Grand National x 2 think I'll have another before I go to bed.

Today I was in a smokey mood so I exceeded my normal limit of 1 pipe. I had a nice bowl of pembroke in my Viking and then a bowl of Mac Baren highland blend in a MM cob. I'm not a fan of the highland but I'll give it a shot again later and see if I like the taste better. I'm feeling a little change of pace so I think I may try some Mississippi mud or waccamaw tomorrow.
