Thanked: 1185Granger in a pre-1938 (7769) Kaywoodie Drinkless. The more of this stuff I burn, the more I like it. While this was the first time I had ever smoked Granger in this pipe, I can't imagine (considering the era it came from) that this was the pipe's first time with Granger. This stuff really is tasty, classic and cheap too. Now off for a quick 3 miler (shower beer and a stogie on the lanai afterwords)

Thanked: 1185More Granger today. Three bowls total 2 in a Flame Grain Meerschaum Kaywoodie and 1 in my Butt Ugly Rhodesian. All great smokes but particularly the morning smoke (in the Kaywoodie). I loaded the pipe and had my morning cup of Joe (a match made in heaven.) I then jumped in the truck and drove a half hour to work still smoking the same bowl! Just finished the evening smoke an El Cheapo Robusto cigar with a cold Coors on the side. I must confess however, that a pipe full of Codger Burley totally outshines a cigar any day. Try as I might, I doubt I'll ever be more than a dabbler in the cigar world. I'm just a dyed in the wool pipe guy and have been since 1976.

Just another pipe at work. McB Navy Flake from Lorenzo while watching matrosen doing their exercises. Those young men and women seem to think that swimming in icy water is fun
