Three nuns seems to be strongish no-nonsense straight VA blend. Very tasty.
Sailor...boy I wish I could get a tin of the old stuff, it has legendary status! I'd be satisfied with a new tin, but haven't been able to find it in these parts.

    Relaxing evening, watching the snow.

Thanks. I just got it and love it so far. I believe this is my 4th bowl on that pipe, so I'm still learning how to use it. Then again, I'm still learning how to use any pipe.

+1 on that meer -- very nice. It'll last you a lifetime and then some if you take good care of it. I've been smoking mine for 30 years now--it had a bit of a crack up recently, but some creative repair by Dave Wolff at WBW fixed that up and the old Sultan is back in the rotation and smoking like silk...

Enjoy that meer! It looks like a great smoke....

I found this tin from the pipe shop in Tallinn Estonia, but i think that Dan pipe has it for sale.
