I've had that experience within my memory. One reason I like having a bit of variety in my tobacco stash is that I can pick according to my mood. Sometimes it just doesn't work out between the tobacco, the pipe and me. Here is some of this day's progress ;
The little Ashton Old Church 1X sandblast had the Baby's Bottom, I like latakia after I eat, and the Kaywoodie Match Grain is my current smoke, G&H Rum Flake.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

After watching the great semifinal game from ice hockey world championships it's time for evening pipe. Brullende Leeuw from Jesper of Denmark.
Nice oriental blend from Holland. I've heard the origins are in Flanders. Mid strenght, VA, latakia, orientals, cevendish and maybe a hint of perique, cannot be sure.

Kinda cool but I don't recommend them. I've got more than one and all have been non functional for years now. You have to use special refined butane or they clog. Apparently even doing that isn't enough. A zippo pipe lighter is way more trouble free, and not as likely to burn the rim or the pipe. IMHO.

Used to be able the send them to Savinelli Service for $7.50 and get them fixed. They closed that but Music City Marketing in Nashville now repairs them and does excellent work. The last ones I sent in were 10.00 each but have heard rumors that it is now 35.00.
My favorites lighters and I have them placed stratigically all over the house, two in the Jeep and always one in my pocket.
