Thanked: 369Have some unopened tins of Niemeyer pipe tobacco I'll have to crack open and try eventually. Must be 30-40 years old.
Tonight after diner, Frog Morton in a rusticated Peterson Kinsale XL 25. First time with the original frog. Very tasty, reminiscent of smokey barbecue early in the morning by the lake. Nice cool dry smoke, no bite, little peppery towards the bottom of the bowl. May be a keeper for me.

Well tonight as I promised I'm going to give my take on Drew Estates Meat Pie. Drew Estates as some of you cigar guys know makes some interesting cigars think the Acid line. Although I am pretty sure they have little to do with the actual blends in fact the Skandinavian tobacco group is behind this one. English style blend sweet and floral from Virginia, Oriental and Turkish tobaccos and of course a nice dose of Latakia. The smoke is quite creamy and has excellent mouth feel with a good amount of BBQ smokiness from latakia. Living up to its name, I do envision some smoked meat in this blend. A very nice balanced smoke not too latakia heavy which I personally hate because I cant taste anything else. Even though nicotine is medium and the taste is by no means strong I seem to see something similar in taste going on here with Dunhill Nightcap, I feel it shares the same back bone minus the Perique. if you enjoy Dunhill and Orlik tobaccos this fits right in being the same producer with yet another blend. Very cool smoking especially since the cut is relatively fine. If you like English blends this one certainly will please you palate. Sweet fragrant and smokey its a winner in my book. Enjoy your pipes gentlemen.

Started the day with Haddo's Delight in my Velani estate billiard. First try with this blend and I worked it to hard with all the black coffee I had just finished.
Finished the afternoon with Firestorm in my Boswell estate dublin for lack of a closer description. Russ Ouellette knows how to blend a tobacco to close out the afternoon. : )Bob

I have a short Church Warden that has sat on the dash of my truck recently.
Today I noticed that the stem is bent. It is just getting warm here and I don't usually take a selfie of myself when I smoke.
I flipped it over so hopefully it bends the other way.
Has anyone else had this issue?
