I heard once that it was originally not called a barbers notch but a pipe notch..............

Really enjoying SPC Plum Pudding Reserve these days. So much so that I ordered another tin at no less than full price. <gulp!> I’ll even post a pic of the pipe next time to further substantiate “my story.”

I bought 4 SPC blends. Mt. Rainier and Plum pudding special reserve.
Both had a bit of a bite. Letting Mississippi Mud and Hood Canal age a bit.

Next time you are enjoying a pipe while shaving use the notch to guide yourself around the stem.

That is an interesting concept and I have never heard that in all my time here at SRP so, interest sparked.

I will have to experiment with different stem shapes to find the optimal pipe to smoke while shaving.

Rats! Bon will not let me smoke in the house.

    There goes another great idea.
