After a day of honeymoon planning I enjoyed a bowl of 2011 Dunhill Navy Rolls in a straight viking. It's a great little pipe, that was my first "real" pipe that wasn't a cheap basket or a cob. I'm cooking a my version of french onion soup that pretty much consists of onions, thin sliced seared venison, homemade beef stock and seasoning.

Congratulations on the marriage, hope the honeymoon has pipe smoking involved somewhere there. I started with Vikings, good pipes. Dependable and affordable without looking like basket pipes. Always gave me good smokes. also, good job on the onion soup. That's always been one of those soups where I always found the hype grander than the soup, but I think the addition of venison is the ticket. Cheers and more cheers.:angel:Quote:

Haha good eye. That's two of our dogs back there. The cat stays outside, he prefers it that way so that he can run amuck and hunt furry creatures. Attachment 339682
