05-17-2011, 07:26 AM #2032Well here are two of my favorite pipes that were made for me...
TRG's from Texas... TRG Handcrafted Pipes
I hate to say it, but I think I'm going to have to let them both go...
Food for my kid's mouths is more important right now than my pipe collection...
If anyone might be interested, PM me and we can talk about them...

Thanked: 198i thought for the fun of it i would post a family pic of my current pipe and tobacco collections, the midsize cob has pretty much been my go to pipe. the larger cob is what i have been smoking the mac baren highland blend out of.

Thanked: 1185Just occurred to me that Irish Flake would probably be quite good in a cob. I just smoked the last of mine in a 7769 Kaywoodie. Definitely a "get some more ASAP" tobacco. I'm out of just about everything and my stash is somewhere unpacked in a box some place. I've got some Billy Budd somewhere but I'll be danged if I can find it. Fresh out of Old Joe Krantz and most of my other go-to's. Time to call in a tobacco barge!

Thanked: 198to awnser your thought, it is d*&m good in a cob, that is the only pipe i actually smoke it in, i am planning to purchase some forever bits for my cobs, so my plan is to turn the diplomat into a churchwarden with an 8"bit, so when i do that, it will get christened with some irish flake, and a very big smile.
