Up to now I've only smoked flake tobaccos in this pipe but not surprisingly OJK does great in it as well. It's a big deep pipe just the thing for a casual Saturday morning smoke while I read the newspaper and have a cup of coffee on the lanai.

Thanks, I own a bunch of pre-1938 Kaywoodies and I'm sure they'd be much prettier if I was a bit more attentive to making them shiny pipes but it's just never really been my style. I smoke them, run a pipe cleaner through them, once in a blue moon ream them and that's about it. In my book, patina adds distinction, whether you're talking about pipes, razors or even people.

Jhenry, how do you like this tobacco? I have never tried it, but am very curious. Is it on the sweet and nutty side, like Butera's Kingfisher, or is it more spice-y like Escudo? Thanks in advance. Cool pipe!
