I know the feeling with wife being a lot smarter than me. Even if she's born blonde.
Those tins are hermetic; usually they are sealed with a heating process. I just put a tip of a work knife, coin or whatever between the lid and twist some to let the air bleed in and voilá, that's it.
Presbyterian is great tobacco btw. Congrats and enjoy.

Right now, my favorite is "Bob's Chocolate Flake." I will be ordering some McClelland Craftsbury "Frog Morton's Cellar" soon to try in my pipe.
Frog Morton's Cellar is good. I'm smoking Frog Morton on the Town and prefer it to the "Cellar" version. But, again I will also order Frog Morton's Cellar again in the future.

    Default Early Dawn smoke...........

Viking Rustic sitter with Pilots mix from my local, lots of sweet cool matured Virginia pre-rubbed flake (Jar on the left). It smells almost like Mexican chocolate with a deep cinnamon chocolate smell to it and burns very cool. It's not an aromatic though. Just good matured Virginia mmmm.Name: 001.jpg
