Thanked: 1185After about a week and a half battle with the black plague, I finally started feeling well enough to smoke. It is a beautiful day here (sun out temperatures pushing 90 degrees) so I sat on the lanai and had some PA in the Cobasaurus Rex. Delicious!

Hallo Gents, I've been out for a while, I had to move to a new home... but I'm back!
Pipe: Stanwell Silver S no. 86
Tobacco: Capstan
And my self-made cigar box guitar, which I baptized on stage two nights ago.
Note: the white label on the cigar box reads "smoking kills". For the Italian law the smoke of pipes and cigars is dangerous as the one of cigarettes...

Mauri,
Nice guitar and good to have you back. Never been in Torino but i wish i will some day. I'd like to visit Museo dell' Automobile and the city surroundings. Countryside.
(And while been on-off self-studying astronomy just for fun or interest, Torino Scale became somewhat familiar term to me)
Those same labels are through EU now. It's good that the new EU proposals do not affect those who smoke cigars, pipe, rollers or use snuff (or snus in case of the Swedes, smuggled by Finns).
Goes something like this (quote from Scandinavian tobacco forums):
'Euroopan komissio kirjoitti:The proposal exempts tobacco products other than cigarettes, roll-your own tobacco and smokeless tobacco products, i.e. cigars, cigarillos and pipe tobacco from some provisions such as the prohibition of products with characterising flavours. This exemption is justified considering that these products are mainly consumed by old farts, while the focus of this proposal is to regulate tobacco products in such a way as they do not encourage young people to start using tobacco.'Last edited by Sailor; 10-12-2013 at 09:18 PM.

Nosewarmer,
Nice to have you back too.
Well, this time it's this herb liqueor 'Valhalla': if you know Jägermaister, Vana Tallinn, Riga Balsam or Unicum Swack you get the idea. This one is scented with Kallioimarre or 'Polypodium vulgare' i think. Scary stuff.
Women, or ladies here sometimes drink mixture called 'Soviet love drink'. It's 50% herb liqueur and 50% Russian champange: first comes the hammer to knock off your brain then it's time for crescent to take off your feet. After that, man of their choice has no change. I know: i'm married.Last edited by Sailor; 10-12-2013 at 10:40 PM.

Thanks Tomi... I've been preoccupied with the new job...
I think I'll stick to my American Whiskey (Makers Mark)
In Norse mythology, Valhalla (from Old Norse Valhöll "hall of the slain"[1]) is a majestic, enormous hall located in Asgard, ruled over by the god Odin. Chosen by Odin, half of those who die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freyja's field Fólkvangr. In Valhalla, the dead join the masses of those who have died in combat known as Einherjar, as well as various legendary Germanic heroes and kings, as they prepare to aid Odin during the events of Ragnarök. Before the hall stands the golden tree Glasir, and the hall's ceiling is thatched with golden shields. Various creatures live around Valhalla, such as the stag Eikþyrnir and the goat Heiðrún, both described as standing atop Valhalla and consuming the foliage of the tree Læraðr.Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...
