Just came across this web site. Spent the last two hours listening to 'The Wendigo" by Algemon Blackwood and had a good long two hour puff with the Pilots Mix and the Viking Supreme Briar. This is an excellent site for smoking and listening to good creepy stories. Man I just simply love this time of year !! Chilling Tales For Dark Nights | Who Needs Sleep Anyway?. And it's stories like this that make me proud to be from Northern Michigan. I can tell you from experience that it gets scary dark up in those woods and could unnerve a fella if they were by themselves in those woods at night........did you hear that ? Must've been the wind ?? BOO !!

What? No pictures?!?! We have Bunyips, Yowi's and Min Min lights amongst other things in this country. Actually I'm not too far from Yowi country where I'm at. I take it you're close to Samhain over there Steph?

We of course call it Halloween but yes.....I love everything about Fall...spooky stories and Thanksgiving feasts(sans football games), Jack-O-lanterns and cornfields, changing of the leaves, Bulky warm well worn clothes, a good pipe , I am all over it and about it. When I die I have asked the good lord to see to it that it happens in the Fall. I wanna be buried under a nice old Maple tree in the Back cemetery where my spirit can hang out unbothered. LOL. And I will be buried in my kilt !!

My favourite Sabbat. Just wish we had such distinct seasons as you do. I think I might just have to pick a nice early morning cool time sometime soon, have a pipe, and reflect on your part of the world.

I really must get a BP gun one day. More study required, while I see where the cash might come from. Hopefully I remember to dedicate a pocket for pipes and another pocket for caps when I do.
