Never heard about tobacco flavored vodka but years ago i had a bottle of tobacco liqueur. Damn if i remember the name but it was Cuban.
Too sweet for me like most of the liqueurs (excluding those made of herbs like Vana Tallinn, Riga Balsam, Unicum Zvack and Fernet Branca).

Howevers at work we once had a bottle of Russian vodka scented with cinnamon. Just one word: don't

I recently read a rumor from one of the Scandinavian sites that the production of all the Peterson pipe tobaccos will go from Kohl&Kopp to MacBaren. K&K still has a license to produce those tobaccos even in the future but with different names.
Now i do not know if it's true or not, but recently the avaibility of Pete tobaccos from local stores hasn't been much to tell about.
There's something else probably going on as well; the avaibility of many other blends has been poor too.
Now interestingly i just checked the K&K/Ratrray's site and they seem to have several new blends available. Looking at the descriptions reminds like several current Pete tobaccos under new Rattrays name. Time will tell how it's gonna be.

Personally i smoke regularly only Old Dublin and University flake from Peterson but might as well switch them with some other brands from SG, Germain's etc. Dunno but in the future they might be available as MacB/Peterson and Rattray's Red Lion (OD) and Wallace flake (UF). No need to worry as this far the avaibility of not only Petersons but MacB:s and several other brands have been good for b/m stores and markets.
Also the description of new Rattray's Malcolm flake seems to be (just) like Erinmores. Have to get one tin soon.

Luckily there seems to be several new tobacco blenders in EU markets like HU etc. Personally i like their lat bomb Indaba and Tuarekh.

But here's my afternoon pipe: Balkan delight from Jensen.

It's been quite awhile since I last smoked a pipe. I was just too busy at work.

A bowl of McClelland, Frog Morton's Cellar in my Rossi "Zulu" is just what I needed.

Y'know , I haven't given up on Balkens just yet. Just like I thought I would never like English blends and look at me now.I'll revisit that notion again someday.

    Jack,

    Thank you!

I would have never tried Frog Morton's Cellar, if it hadn't been for the recommendations that I read about it here on the POTD thread at SRP.
