OOOOooooooo. I washed my car the other day. And I vac'ed it out for the first time in at least two years. Cleaned the seats, treated the dashbaord, Q-tipped the gauge bezels - all that jazz. Then I went to a local sports car event and, like a moron, failed to win the prize for dirtiest car. All my "friends" were waiting for me to arrive with the nastiest 911 this side of Paris-to-Dakar so I would be publicly humiliated (and get a prize, the bastages - probably a carvac, some carpet shampoo and a bottle of Windex).
Jokes on them. I still won. Found an old, full can of Formers Flake under the seat. Wonderful stuff.

Thanked: 1160I keep wishing I could find me a local ....I dunno... pipe and tobacco convention? Or something like that where I could go and sample all the tobaccos I am curious about. My local carries that Ratrays AM and the Dunny 965. Gosh...I wish I had both Pipes and Cigars and Walker Briar Works right around the corner from me......I'de never move.

Thanked: 1160Frog Morton has put me into an English jag....so ...First Cabinet, English house blend from my local. Like the frog but a little spicier,a dram of Grande Marnier Cherry, Viking rustic Bent (my go to lat pipe) and a fascinating documentary on World War I trench warfare. Those soldiers don't get enough recognition and they were tough (all of'em) .

Thanked: 1160The match holder is actually a toothpick holder I bought some years back at a local Japanese grocery and mercantile store. The pipe I've had for about a year I think now. As for World War I ,I've been checking out all sorts of stuff on that tonight on You Tube. No war is good, but geeze, I am blown away at what these guys went through. Every vet should be thanked for their sacrifices.
