Warren I am 30 and smoke a pipe just about everyday. I have been a pipe smoker for a year or so now and love it. I still smoke cigarettes (not sure why) and the nicotine is way different from that of a cigarette. It is there just not chemically enhanced to be stronger.

Oh and my little brother "thephill" is 25 and has a healthy collection of pipes and smokes every day!! So take the plunge, do some reading or talk to the guy at your office who smokes. It takes a while to learn how to properly smoke a pipe but once you understand it's game on and a pleasurable and relaxing time.

going to smoke some nortwoods on her maiden smoke.
    my homemade pipe

i just smoked half a bowl
of northwoths and out of all the pipes i own this was the most enjoyable.
all you have to do is breath and it draws. i smoked it on the way to work
and sat in my truck and finished it wishing i would of filled it all the way

    Friday evening highlights:

    Pipe: Stanwell HCA Churchwarden
    Tobacco: Peterson
Lighter: freshly restored & repaired old IMCO from Austria
Beer: delicious lager Aura. Named after the river that runs through my home town. This is also an official beer of the European Capital of Culture 2011

Now as we've seen so many nice pipes on these pages, i'd like to hear your opinions/recommendations on good pipe tobacco.
