It will be ok and it doesn't limp any more, but it's s/r and jumping days are forever gone.

A guy in the neighborhood did his lawn up with artificial turf scraps from local ball field projects. At times he shovels it clean to expose the green in the winter. I stopped one day to tell him I enjoyed his project and he informed me that he has had multiple complaints from neighbors about it!

Well Tim, next time you see that bloke, you tell him this Aussie bloke you know said to tell his neighbours to "get stuffed" if they whinge about it. I think he's just trying to keep some sanity in his life. All the white stuff would drive me Troppo...Now that's a strange word choice right there. Troppo means going crazy due to constant humidity, rain and heat. Tropical/Troppo...

That's funny. Our Maint. guy from work lives across the street from me and he's as Troppo as it gets. Dementia land. And he's a fanatic about plants and such. He keeps a perfectly green lawn all winter long ! Thanks for the winter pics !

Sailor, how do you like that Veermaster? I like Virginias and I have been thinking about picking up a tin.

I think they tried to make something like Capstan blue; the taste is almost the same (imho). The slices are thicker.
Strenght is something mildish-medium. Not bad at all.

It's been a pretty slow day at the barbershop, due to the snow. The good news is that it gives me some extra time for a longer smoke, so I stuffed three bullseye flakes into the Peterson dublin, and had a nice relaxing smoke watching the snow.

Being a barber sounds like a nice profession. Seems like it would be very relaxing and rewarding.

Y'know I recently bought a zippo for my pipe.At first I wasn't sure if I liked it all that much but it's been growning on me more and more. Between Sailor and Chay2K I'm considering getting a brass one as I like the look of'em. and Sailor...I wanted to also tell you I like that straight pipe your smoking the veermaster in. Lovat bits are catching my eye lately.
