That's a great looking pipe. The bowl looks new.

Evening smoke: Old Joe Krantz in Cobasaurus Rex. In the last few weeks, life has dealt me a couple swift kicks (health and family issues). There was a nice breeze out this morning so I loaded up and sat out on the porch. It was just what the doctor ordered. Being able to relax and rationally work through things is a bonus. It's also very difficult to do with emotionally charged issues (which all of mine recently have been). Nevertheless, after about an hour and twenty minutes soaking in the cool evening breeze and a cloud of burley smoke, I may not have solved the world's problems and probably haven't solved all my own but at least I have a game plan now.

It is. Got it awhile ago, but have never fired it up until now.

    1OldGI,

Don't despair. The fact that you're still here and able to address the health and family issues that beset you now is a plus. You have a plan. Now implement it.

Remember, "Character is best formed in the stormy billows of the world." Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

    Take care, chief...

1OldGI, my thoughts are with you and your family. Praying for strength and wisdom for you during this season of you life.

My son turns 18 today. We are going to a local cigar lounge this afternoon to enjoy his first cigar together. I'm looking forward to him turning green (he's never had any tobacco products that I know of.) We are all taking him to dinner later. No pipe today, I plan on posting a pic later of our cigar time.
