    Phil,

I'd take number four but it's just me.

Been away for some time. Spent about 3 weeks in Northern Coasts 2014, joint naval excercise of about 16 nations in northern Baltic sea. Now about to begin a short vacation of two weeks and to open my first beer for too long times.

Few pics from the past few weeks:

I actually had this commissioned before I asked for opinions... I just wanted to see what everyone thought...

Its from a carver out of New Mexico, Rick Black... A disabled veteran...

I saw his work on eBay and contacted him for the commission... And it looks like he does great work...

I thought that my pipe was the only one that was made yesterday, but it seems that he is quick and he stated that he had completed 3 yesterday... The man has it down to a science...

Close up pictures to come when it arrives...

    Steph,

This is for you... I found it on eBay and it won't break the bank... They even have a store front in Denver...

They even offer a shorter stem...

    Paykoc Imports Briar Churchwarden:

"Manufactured and produced in Italy, these authentic churchwardens have a solid briar bowl and a sturdy lucite stem. PAYKOC BRIAR is engraved on the side of every bowl indicating customer satisfaction, affordable quality goods, and a 90-day warranty against defection. Churchwarden's offer a long, drawn-out smoke which tends to make it cooler, more pleasurable. The churchwarden was originally created by European tradesmen to offer the pipe-smoking public a chance to read a book while enjoying tobacco. Over the years, many stories have evolved about these legendary pipes, and they have come in many forms. More commonly these pipes are remembered for their appearance in Lord of the Rings films and books and illustrations. Now you can own the same treasure."
