    Default NEW PIPES AND BACCY

    Hi fella's,

I got a new pipe I thought I would share with you. Its an English pipe made by Blakemar Pipes in Northampton U.K, as you can see its a poker and I had a custom stem made to jazz it up a little. It smokes very well.
The cost I here you cry, well with the custom stem and postage the grand price of £46 which I think is very good, for a well made pipe.

I planned to use this pipe for Mississippi river only, and I have smoked a few bowls in the pipe, However the batch I received is not as good this time and is very low on taste for some reason, anyone found this?
So it will be used for Plum Pudding from Seattle Pipe Club which I find is more consistant.

I have also been smoking a new blend for me called, Thomas's Blend from 4 Noggins which is really very good. It tastes like it smells in the bag. Burns well no bit and very smooth well worth a go.

I am a little upset about the Mississippi River, but the cost to return it to the U.S.A is to high so I will keep it in a jar and hope for the best, perhaps it will get better with age.

Good pipeing to you all, have a great Sunday.
    Stevie

    Beautiful pipe, Stevie!

Tonight I'm enjoying a little Briar Fox in an Autograph 8.

Sometimes it really tastes very good, the next batch is no taste or very little, when its good its very good. So I won't buy anymore for a while.

Is the Mississippi River an aromatic. What's the full name of the tobacco ??

Hell Stevie, I find that w/most weeds. It's a natural product, and varies lot to lot. Tins from the same lot should be the same, but after that all bets are off. JMO.

Ya, it can be frustrating at times. I buy multiple tins at a time. When I reorder 6-12mo down the line, the new product rarely tastes the same.
