It is officially Autumn Yay !! I had a friend visit the other day and she left me all this beer. Well, I'm a Ciderman mostley but I cannot see good beer go to waste so,..........Looks like I'll be posting some beer pipe pics. First one.....Breckenridge Brewery Autumn Ale: along with a Peterson System 303 full of McClellands Bulk 2000 Fragrant Matured Cake.

That's interesting. I only have one pipe left that's never had latakia in it. I'll keep it that way and see what happens. I've never tried a cherry tobacco, like I said I don't usually go for aromatics. Any you'd particularly recommend?

Once in a while, I like the taste of the ghosting and smoke a Virgina/Perique in one of my Latakia pipes. Haven't smoked a cherry tobacco since the early 70's but I have to agree that Latakia and Cherry probably aren't too compatible.

I got a blend from a brick and mortar in Colorado that was a cherry and Latakia mixture. Called smoking black cherry. Was actually really good. took most of the bite out the cherry. And it was an interesting flavor combination

I'm not that much of an aromatic smoker any more however, The Bulk McClellends 2000 I smoke is sort of a bridge between Virgina and an Aromatic and I honestly love the stuff.

So it's been a slightly weird night tonight and to destress I'm trying out these Stainless steel Goblets I got from ebay. I don't know how kosher they are as they are direct from some obscure place in China but, for now they look cool with the Savinelli Churchwarden with McClellends 2000 FMC and a nice TommyKnocker Saison Ale. Yep, just one step closer to Hobbitdom I yam !! Sorry about the sideways picture,It loads up this way for some reason ?

I got a once was silver plated tankard to go with those stainless goblets, so just bloody wait for me, I'm coming too! I also have had a weird day. Anything that could go wrong did, and I almost killed me and the kids by nearly pulling out in front of a line of traffic. I could have sworn the road was clear a second before hand! Still shaking over that one. All has ended well though besides frazzled nerves.

Pretty boring evening at work today for me. No tankards or goblets for me tonight just a couple of aluminium cans.
I was sitting on the porch in the half light of the streetlamp thinking of a big hit and miss engine I saw this last weekend and trying to blow smoke rings. That thing was blowing perfect rings 40 to 50 feet in the air!

Maybe I should add to my bucket list, blowing perfect smoke rings on demand????
