    I've never seen such pipe like yours! Must be some special model to celebrate something? Deutsche Mark?

    Now as spring is finally here it is time to put some of my pipes into rotation. I recently took from a storage few of my elder pipes i haven't been smoking for some years now. I once bought them from flea markets & estate auctions. Cleaned, smoked few years, cleaned them again and put them on rest, to wait for a day that came this spring. Of course i will clean some of my recent pipes too and put them to rest.

    After hard week at work it is time to start my Friday with one of these elder estate pipes.

    Sailor (Stanwell second) pipe with Capstan
    Karjala (Carelia) strong lager scented with tar

    Ice Hockey World Championship game going on TV!

    Yes, when Germany changed the "Deutsche Mark" with the monopoly-money (Euro), Vauen created this special edition.
